The Challenge

Our client was bidding to develop a Wideband Training Certification System (WTCS) for the Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) and provide many of the ground systems used by the Army operators through similar development programs with the Army’s PM Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS). While very well-positioned with their customer, our client was short on resources, particularly technical writers, graphic artists, and desktop publishers.

The Solution

Four Salentis resources supported the successful development of this proposal in which the client elected to use their own bidding process. Salentis’ Proposal Manager developed and managed the proposal schedule and compliance outline and participated as a non-technical Writer. A Salentis Technical Writer/Subject Matter Expert helped compose proposal sections working with one of our Graphic Designers, and in conjunction with the client’s Capture Manager, the Salentis Proposal Manager assisted in facilitating colour reviews. With the Salentis Desktop Publisher, our Proposal Manager managed the entire production process for submission.
